Read All About It

News from the Tahquamenon Area Library
by Dion Mindykowski, Librarian

The Tahquamenon Area Library’s system migration from UPRLC to PAC2 is almost complete. We appreciate your patience during this time, especially those of you who use our downloadable audio and eBooks. We know you’ve missed those during the downtime.

Our new circulation system will be up and running Wednesday, November 14. To make the final changes and provide staff training, we’ll be closed Monday, November 12 and Tuesday, November 13. We would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Regular hours will resume Wednesday, November 14 at 8:30 a.m.

While you’ve got your calendars out, you might want to mark down our annual Thanksgiving holiday closure. We’ll be closed Thursday, November 22, Friday, November 23 and Saturday, November 24. Regular hours will resume Monday, November 26 at 8:30 a.m.

The week of Thanksgiving we’ll be running the same special as last year: check out one free educational movie, receive one free entertainment movie checkout. This will allow you to stock up on films to share with family and friends over the holiday break.

We have many exciting things coming with the migration. Be sure to check out next week’s “Read All About It” column in this newspaper or our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/tahquamenonlibrary, or stop into the library to find out more.
