4-H Day Camp

4-H hosted a weeklong day camp for youth ages five - 11 the week of July 23 - 27.

The kids enjoyed a wide variety of activities, including: learning about fish and fishing from MDNR fisheries staff, screen printing, making kites, a field trip to Seney National Wildlife Refuge, a trip to the upper and lower Tahquamenon Falls, science and literacy activities, crafts, games and much more.

It was a fantastic week with a wonderful group of children. Staff at the MSU Extension office look forward to holding the camp again next summer.

4-H Day in the Park

Please join 4-H for an afternoon of family fun at Luce County Park Friday, August 10 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. This is a free community event open to the public. Entrance to the park will be waived for those participating.

There will be a variety of hands-on activities, crafts, snacks, games and giveaways. If it’s raining, the location will switch to the MSU Extension office in the lower level of the Pathways Building. For more information call 293-3203.
