Frances Clark

Frances “Frannie” Clark, 89, of Paradise died at her home Friday, June 29, 2018 with her loving family by her side and under the care of Eastern U.P. Hospice after a short bout with cancer.

Born February 6, 1929 in Harbor Springs, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Emma (Bachee) Kabelman. In 1948 she married Cecil Clark, Jr.

She loved picking blueberries and mushrooms, gardening and flowers, but her greatest joy was helping her daughter clean rooms at the motel and giving gifts to people.

She looked forward to making zucchini bread for her family and various jams and jellies to sell every year at her “Frannie Fest.”

Besides her parents and husband of 43 years, Cecil, she is preceded in death by 16 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her daughter, Nancy (Mike) Mitchell of Paradise; three grandchildren, two greatgrandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and sister, Katherine Clark of Curtis.

Graveside prayers and committal took place July 3 at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery with Elder Jerry Klein presiding.
