by Stacy Price, Superintendent

Well, spring hasn’t quite made its appearance yet, but spring sports are in full swing as practices have begun.

—TAS Parent/Teacher conferences will be held this Thursday, April 12 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. High school teachers will be available in the cafeteria, and elementary teachers in their classrooms.

Elementary parents should have received notices from teachers as to their scheduled appointments; if not, please check backpacks and contact your child’s teacher.

—Testing in the High School begins this week: SAT/PSAT for grades eight through 10, M-STEP for grade 11 and ACT Work Keys for grade 11. Please remind your child that a good night’s rest the night before is helpful, along with a good breakfast the morning of testing.

Elementary M-STEP testing will begin next week with fifth grade Tuesday and Thursday.

—Please check out the school bond Facebook page for information about the upcoming bond at AS-Bond-Proposal- 2063912613934466/.
