News from the Tahquamenon Area Library
by Dion Mindykowski, Librarian

With more snow predicted to fall this week, it might not feel like spring is on the way just yet. Even so, the Detroit Tigers have reported to Spring Training Camp, and since we know many of you are anxious for the baseball season to start, we’re featuring a display of books about the game and its players.

All books from the display can be checked out for three weeks with a valid Tahquamenon Library card and may be renewed if no one is waiting for them. Additional books can be found in our adult and juvenile non-fiction sections.

Speaking of non-fiction sections, thanks to the hard work of library staff, our big project switching the adult fiction and non-fiction sections was completed much faster than anticipated. All adult fiction now can be found at the south end of the library, while all adult nonfiction can be found at the north end. We finally have a little more space for the fiction section to grow.

New signage will be placed soon, but until then, if you have trouble finding a book, please don’t hesitate to ask library staff for help.
