by Dion Mindykowski, Librarian

Gather your family for a musical night at the library! Upper Peninsula children’s musician, Papa Crow, will be performing at the Tahquamenon Library Thursday, December 14 at 6:00 p.m.

Papa Crow has released three albums of fun, catchy children’s songs: “Things That Roar” (2011), “What Was That Sound?” (2012) and “Full Moon, Full Moon” (2014).

All are welcome to join us at this free, all-ages event. To hear some of Papa Crow’s music, check out a CD at the library today or visit

The Tahquamenon Area Friends of the Library will meet Tuesday, December 12 at 6:00 p.m. All are welcome.

The Friends have done many great things for the library, including raising money for new shelving, books, summer reading program prizes and more.

The more active members the Friends have, the more they can do to make your library an even better place. Stop by next Tuesday and see what it’s all about.
