Stress Less — Learn Mindfulness

Mindfulness is a stress management practice that helps reduce stress by focusing on the present moment in an accepting manner, free from judgment.

Michigan State University Extension will provide a five- to six-week series entitled “Stress Less with Mindfulness” in Newberry at the MSU Extension office, located on Hamilton Lake Road. The series starts Monday, July 17 and will meet for five to six weeks from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.

Each week participants will learn different techniques and practice skills. Topics are as follows: Mindful Breath, Mindful Eating, Mindful Walking, Be Kind to Your Mind and Mindful Humor.
