Sharon M. Storms

Sharon M. Storms, 65, of Germfask died Saturday morning, July 4, 2015 at Golden Leaves Living Center in Newberry.

Born February 17, 1950 in Manistique, daughter of the late Gustav and Beatrice (Tovey) Abram, she had been a resident of Germfask since 1994. In addition to being a homemaker raising her family, she was employed as a waitress at various restaurants during her lifetime.

A member of St. Therese Catholic Church in Germfask, she enjoyed reading, crocheting, fishing, hunting and playing cards.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Theresa Lambert; step-children, Dennis Fetterhoff and Lucille Storms; and brother-in-laws, John Michael Mead, William Burton and Richard Parker.

Survivors include her husband, Robert of Germfask, whom she married March 5, 1993 in Bad Axe; children, Tammy (Jerry) Birchfield of Newberry, Michelle Fetterhoff of Newberry and Jodi (David) Stilson of Germfask; step-children, Richard (Ellen) Storms of Bay City and Leann (Harland) McGann of McMillan; 13 grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren; and siblings, Jerry (Diana) of Germfask, William (Sharon) of Newberry, Matthew (Pam) of Hayden, ID, Sandy (Lynn) Lietzke of Blissfield, Margaret (Terry) Nelson of Newberry, Roberta Swan of Newberry and Mary Mead of McMillan.

Friends may call at the Beaulieu Funeral Home in Newberry Friday, July 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Private family interment services will take place at a later date at the Blaney Cemetery.
